I’ve just upgraded my Avid software to Media Composer 3.0 - along with upgrades to the Automatic Duck import/export plug-ins for FCP. I’ve also invested in Sapphire Lighting plug-ins for FCP.

My new Mac Pro 8-core has arrived! Super-fast with heaps of goodies, the system really can rocket along now, and this means my whole edit set up is now fully Intel-powered.

I’ve recently taken two more Apple Pro courses at Cryptic Peach with instructor Andrea Lunesu, and I’m delighted to report that I am now Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3 and Soundtrack Pro 2.

Workwise, I’m back in Manchester at ITV again, on You’ve Been Framed!, and looking forward to another series of It Pays To Watch in London, with Martin Lewis.
