2011 was a very lucky year for me - I began the year editing some of the Gino D'Acampo vehicle There's No Taste Like Home (incidentally, the ones which weren't ridiculed on TV Burp…), then progressed onto making the lovely Ade in Britain (currently re-running on ITV1 on Sunday mornings), started cutting football matches against the clock on Match Of The Day and Match Of The Day 2, and features for Football Focus for the BBC, and finished the year finely crafting The Big Quiz : Corrie vs Emmerdale, a funny, lively, soap-filled romp which rated over 5 million viewers on ITV1 and HD when it aired just before Christmas.
Since the beginning of 2012, I've been working with BBC Sport on MOTD/MOTD2, Australian Open Tennis, Six Nations rugby, Football Focus and Olympics pre-edits.
I've edited several films for The One Show for BBC One, and completed the fine cuts for TX on Olly : Life On Murs for ITV Studios, TXing on ITV2
I've finished editing the long-awaited video of Charley's Children in Need challenge in November, which I also shot (!) - he's a star, so have a watch and if you like it, please donate a few bob; every little helps!
In other news, I have upgraded my Avid software - anyone who now books me and my kit to edit on Avid, gets Symphony 6 instead of Media Composer, at no extra charge.
